The Workshop
Our creative workshops, a history of passion and prestige
Our origins
The Ballestra and GB workshops have their origins in passionate men and women who, over the years, have created a name and reputation for themselves on the Côte d’Azur by working with the greatest names in luxury jewelry.
Our Workshops
The GB workshop
Created in 1964 by Mr. Maurice GROSSO and Mr. Pierre BESSON who made his debut as an apprentice with Mr. Billy in Cannes, under exclusive contract with Van Cleef & Arpels.
The Ballestra workshop
Mr. Ballestra Armand created in 1980 his very first workshop in the principality at 7 rue des Geraniums: Atelier Ballestra. For five years he worked alone. It is thanks to word of mouth and the quality of his work that the workshop was able to blossom and make its reputation to this day.
Our know-how, recognized throughout the world
Our workshops are the pioneers of an invention that is now known worldwide: the Azur clasp patent. This patent was purchased and designed by Mr. GROSSO and Mr. BESSON, the founders of the GB workshop.
